Recently, we shared how a new wave of advisors and business owners are taking customisation into their own hands using AI tools, Xero’s MCP Server, Lovable integrations, and XeroForce to build custom workflows without writing traditional code.
Whether you’re running a practice or managing a growing business, the opportunity is the same: you can now build bespoke solutions on top of Xero tailored precisely to how you work.
Now, we’re taking that movement off the screen and into the real world.
We’re excited to invite both small business owners and advisors to Rise of the Builder Day, a hands-on workshop and building day at the Xero Melbourne Office on Saturday, 17 October.
From reading about AI to building with It
If you’ve read about how small businesses are automating daily admin or how practices are building custom tools to review client files, this event is your opportunity to do the exact same thing for your organisation with direct support from Xero’s product, platform, and engineering teams.
Whether you want to build a tool for your firm or a custom solution for your small business, here’s what we’ll be diving into:
- The vibecoding workshop: Learn how to describe your workflow in plain English and use AI frameworks (including Claude skills, Lovable integrations, and Xero Builder Tools) to build working apps, agents, and workflows.
- Hands-on building time: Spend dedicated hours tackling a real inefficiency or bottleneck in your business or practice alongside peers, with technical mentors by your side.
- Exclusive tool access: Get active, hands-on experience testing new Xero platform tools and integrations designed specifically for builders like you.
- Show & tell + networking: Showcase what you built, gather inspiration from fellow business owners and advisors, and connect over drinks at our end-of-day happy hour.
