Welcoming Rabobank direct feeds (AU/NZ)

Good news for our New Zealand and Australian customers. We’ve been hard at work with Rabobank to supply direct feeds to Xero business customers, and we’re pleased to announce Rabobank as our newest feed partner.  In terms of Tier 1 capital, Rabobank is one of the world’s 30 largest banks, and we’re very pleased to be working with their Australasian team.

From today, you can start the application process to receive your feeds from Rabobank. If you create a bank account within Xero with “Rabobank (NZ)” or “Rabobank (AU)” as the bank name, you’ll be given the option to download an authority form, which you can complete in order to have daily feeds from your Rabobank accounts shared with Xero.  Rabobank is still doing some work to complete support for feeds, but we expect that they will come online sometime during September.

All Rabobank accounts with transactional facilities will be supported (e.g All-in-One and cheque accounts). RaboDirect feeds are not currently supported.

Rabobank is one of a new tranche of direct bank feeds that we intend to roll out over the next 12 months. If your bank doesn’t supply a direct feed, and you’d like to see your bank supported, we strongly encourage you to get in touch with your bank and request they talk to Xero about providing support, reiterating your commitment to them as you do so. Many banks have offered to supply bank or credit card feeds to us after they listened and responded to customers asking that they integrate with Xero.

We’ve been doing a lot of work over the past six months to make it easier for banks and Xero to integrate, and now that over 100,000 small businesses worldwide are actively using our product, there’s never been a better time for them to talk to us.

Rabobank is the latest bank to integrate with us directly. We continue to provide access to thousands of banks worldwide through our integration with Yodlee.
