2. Sign up for a free Xero user account and get familiar with the basics of Xero by using your own Demo company. We also run free webinars each week to help get you started with Xero.

3. Login to the Xero Developer Portal (https://api.xero.com) and try the API Previewer application to get familiar with the functionality of our API. This application uses the standard 3 legged OAuth process so is a great way to see a real example of the workflow for a public application.

4. When you are ready to start building an application, learn more about
