Can I try the Xero API before I enter my billing details?
Yes. Sign up for a free Xero account and you’ll get access to your own demo company which you can use to experiment with our developer API. You’ll also get full access to our developer resources.

What is the Xero Network?

Do I have to use a specific language when integrating with Xero?
No. Our API is REST based so you can use whatever you’re comfortable with.

My application is built in Flash or Silverlight. How do I implement the authentication workflow for OAuth?
Consider implementing a javascript popup window for authentication with Xero.

How do I find out what new API features are being worked on?
There’s a good chance we’re working on the most popular feature requests. Please let us know what we should be working on next.

Can I enter invoices in a foreign currency using the Xero API?
Yes. You can raise invoices in any currency you have setup for your Xero organisation.

Does Xero do integration work with other products?
Our developer API team tries to focus on making our API as easy as possible for 3rd party developers to integrate with other products. From time to time we’ll do some integration work ourselves. Cast your vote on products you’d like to see integrated with Xero

Is there any cost involved with becoming a Xero Network partner?
Other than your own integration costs, there is no charge for becoming a Xero Network partner and no ongoing developer costs to use our API.

Can I use the Xero logo on my website?
Only approved partners can use our logo, in accordance with our brand usage guidelines.
