Report Packs go live in Australia

Report Packs in Xero fundamentally change the way accountants and bookkeepers work by dramatically improving how you prepare reports for clients. Today Report Packs went live for Australian Xero Partners.

Instead of the old way of creating individual reports for each client file, Report Packs takes advantage of the powerful database technology that underpins Xero. You can now build templates at the practice level and run these across large groups of clients. The efficiency of this approach is a game changer.

Our New Zealand partners have been working with us for over a year to get Report Packs humming so all that functionality is available immediately for our Australian Partners, including Report Fields and Report Schedules.

To support the launch of Report Packs in Australia we’ve created a layer of Report Codes and Special Purpose Financial Report templates for Companies, Partnerships, Sole Traders and Trusts that can be copied to create your own customised reports.

Report Packs are also great for creating beautifully customised Management Reports in a fraction of the time. Building a Management Report template to suit a particular industry, or even a specific client, means Partners can deliver huge amounts of value to their clients on an ongoing basis – not just at year-end.

Report Packs are heading to the UK next followed by the US. The scoping phase for both these projects are well underway so although there are no hard dates for delivery yet the turnaround time to launch this feature in new markets is getting much shorter.
