Send me an Angel
With all the energy we’re seeing in the Xero Add-on community (see Apportunity), we’ve been thinking about how to make sure our Xero Add-on partners are sufficiently resourced. We want Add-on partners to be able to invest in their product and in supporting our joint customers and partners.
Planning is underway to add investor events to next year’s Xerocon events. In the meantime we are kicking off the process off by doing a number of events with Angel investment groups.

Our first event is with the ICE Angels and JBWere in Auckland to present a group of Xero Add-on partners at an investment evening on Tuesday Sept 18th.
It will be a good night with Sir Ray Avery telling his story in the first session followed by Xero CEO Rod Drury.
Rod will explain to the Angels what’s happening in the Xero ecosystem, how we are providing a pathway to market, and what we look for in acquisitions. Three Xero Add-on partners will get the opportunity to pitch.
So if you think you are Angel investment ready, send me your pitch deck so we can find the best three companies for the Ice Angels. (ronan.quirke@xero.com)
Stay tuned for what we’re planning at next year’s Xerocon events and start to get those pitch decks ready. We’ll provide many more opportunities for Add-on solution providers to connect with funders.

Awesome, great idea guys.
Awesome – what are the options for attending (but not pitching at) the event 18th Ronan?
Very cool, looking forward to that and Xerocon
We at Crystal Payroll would be interested in attending!
What a great idea! What is a pitch deck? I think GoFi8ure is the perfect Angel (s)
@Lisa, Pitch decks are short company presentations that explain your value proposition to investors.

Good initiative Ronan
