TriggerApp – how to be more productive

So what is TriggerApp?
TriggerApp is designed to boost productivity by letting you manage projects including teams, clients, timesheets, tasks and budgets, all in the cloud. It tracks task pipelines, records time spent, captures client interaction and raises detailed invoices.
Who is it for?
Anyone offering professional services such as lawyers, accountants, advertising agencies, management consultants, web designers etc. TriggerApp is especially useful if you run fixed price or hourly rate jobs and need team and client collaboration.
How TriggerApp works with Xero
TriggerApp timesheets can be automatically converted to Xero invoices, with task titles becoming invoice line items. It allows you to use tracking categories for even better reporting in Xero.
Where you can use TriggerApp
Developed by Australian based Netengine, TriggerApp is available globally (Xero customers around the world use it) with pricing in Australian dollars.

At first glance in the trial it seems to lack timezone configuration. Definitely a deal breaker for those in outside the default which seems to be NZ. Otherwise, it does look like a great app.
Oops. “..for those outside the default…”*** . Does TriggerApp plan to support other timezones?
Gayle, thank you for your kind words, and do feel free to get in touch if you or they need help in making TriggerApp work for their business. There is a lot of functionality hidden behind clean interfaces, so often clients need help discovering it all.
Brad, yes this is half way through development and just got put on hold because of the the new interface design in the last few months.
We will have this out in the next few weeks depending on testing, along with multi currency.
Keep the questions coming Xero people – we have lots more planned especially when it comes to a tighter Xero integration.
Great to see more Australian based cloud software providers integrating with Xero.
Hi all, just a quick one to let you know that we pushed out timezone and currency support this last week. Timezones can now be set in your MANAGE SETTINGS area, and currencies set at a client company level.
Our getting started CSV import is almost ready and for those of you who have recently moved from MYOB or plan to, we have a MYOB data import coming up so that you can migrate easily to a Trigger with Xero solution.
Any questions please get us on skype triggerapp.support or on support@triggerapp.com
Thanks, Bruce
Hi guys, love the idea of this software, will be very handy indeed. Just wondering do you have any video tutorials on how to use aspects / get started. Just finding it a little hard to navigate how to set up clients etc. Also if you have a fixed price for a project is the software still able to track time?
Look forward to hearing from you,
Thanks
Michelle
Hi Michelle,
Our videos so far have been more general – What is TriggerApp? (above), or showing how to use a new feature like our recurring tasks. When a new customer would like a little bit of help getting started, we like to go one better and take them on a personal tour via Skype with screen-sharing.
Would that suit you? Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me via dan@triggerapp.com, or on Skype as ‘triggerapp.support’, and I’ll answer your questions and get you up and running.
To answer your other question, and for anyone else reading, yes, you may still track time on a fixed-price Project or Task – and you can convert it back to billing hourly at any time.
Thanks for the interest in TriggerApp. I look forward to speaking to you soon.
Kind regards,
Dan Sowter
nice work, have some HR companies that are going to LOVE this – thank you
