Annual Meeting 2010

One of the events we look forward to at Xero is our Annual Meeting where we get to present how we’re going to our shareholders. We had a great turn out yesterday – with a large number of shareholders who’ve made 3 out of 3 meetings. Perhaps it is the awesome food from Capitol (Xero shareholder and customer of course).

The formal part of the meeting covered the re-election of Phil and Sam to the Board. Phil delivered the Chairmans Report summarizing our last year. I presented some insights into our strategy.

We hosted a similar session to Auckland based shareholders and financial advisors this morning. It was great to have a good number of early shareholders we hadn’t met before.

Again we thank you for your ongoing support.

Wow 22,000 that number seems to be doubling every 9 months? some real momentum building up! Would not be suprised if saas accounting vendors start getting bought out. Dont want to see xero fall for that though, there is a realistic possibility that xero could become one of nz’s most successful companies.
