UK economy still in rehab, drinks trolley approaching

The ICAEW’s latest quarterly Business Confidence Monitor report is out and shows that while UK business confidence remains steady, the recovery is slow and the newly elected coalition government’s imminent measures to aggressively work down the UK’s £160Bn public spending deficit is probably just about the last thing the economy’s fragile resolve needs to hear.

70 days of oil spill and still no fix. Some none mainstream media outlets are currently reporting that oil experts say that this leak will never be stopped. I believe that we can forget business confidence if this thing is still leaking next year. Just imagine.
Unfortunately, this weeks budget and the unstoppable oil spill in the Gulf have put pay to any possibility of the economy avoiding depression. £2 a litre fuel this year.
