Aussie accountants are on our mind
We’re really enjoying building our presence in Australia and a big part of this is making sure accountants have the support they need.
Today we’re entering into a partnership with CountGPS, an Australian based online provider of exclusive content and resources for accountants. Through this partnership CountGPS members will be introduced to Xero.
“Many accounting firms across Australia don’t have systems and processes that are consistently used…. and those who do have systems in place aren’t satisfied with them,” says CountGPS founder Timothy Munro.
He says the relationship with Xero will help firms using CountGPS to provide “real-time” advice to their clients continually throughout the year.
At Xero it’s clear to us that the accounting firms embracing the services of CountGPS are the same progressive firms that recognise the benefits online technology offers them and their clients.
Work is now underway to integrate Xero into the workflow processes that CountGPS provides.

FYI Since this blog post in 2009, CountGPS is now an online platform that incorporates Web based Practice Management, Website Management, Intranet with CountGPS content, Ledger with XERO. firm budgeting and kpis and integration with X-Plan financial planning software – woohoo!
Just wait for online tax in 12 months and we can run our entire firm in the cloud
