We’ve been touring Australia for the last couple of weeks with Rob Nixon, talking with hundreds of accountants on the topic of ’7 Keys to Building a Successful Accounting Business’. This is Rob’s last tour, having presented to thousands of accountants over the last three years.

As Rob presents the 7 keys, he highlights the importance of the accountant being in tune with the needs of their clients.  Rob calls this the Fab 5, being Growth, Cashflow, Profits, Asset Protection and Succession/Sale.  These are important areas of a business that accountants are specially placed to support, and Xero makes this even easier, particularly in these economic times, when cashflow is critical to the longevity of the business.
