John Key on Small Business

The ubiquitous Tim Norton grabbed a couple of minutes with New Zealand Prime Minister John Key at the Job Summit on Friday.
It is great that the new Government does understand the importance of small business.
I found it really difficult to focus on finding short term solutions without getting into some of the major issues for small and fast growing businesses – like access to capital.
My favorite quote from the Summit was from 42Below founder Geoff Ross who relayed a conversation he had with a mate the night before.
It’s a bloody big recession, lets not waste it.
