One giant leap for accountants

Today’s product update included a whole bunch of handy new features. However, the big news is My Xero Accountants Edition, which lets accounting partners manage all their clients within Xero.

Online accounting has shifted the goal posts dramatically for small businesses and their advisors. Accountants and their small business clients can easily collaborate from anywhere, at anytime. Now with Accountants Edition we’ve added the ability to easily collaborate within an accounting practice, so accountants can do their job more efficiently and more effectively.

We’ve given accountants more visibility of their clients, as well as giving clients better access to their advisors. For instance, accountants can now put their contact details inside the Help menu of all of their clients, making their services just a click away.

We believe this is the start of a new product category that sits between small business accounting and traditional Practice Management, allowing accountants to proactively do management accounting for their customers.
