Does the Palm Pre have a chance?

The star of last week’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) was the Palm Pre. Yet another new phone and mobile web platform.
When I saw it I thought – bit late to the party.
But I just watched this interview with Roger McNamee of Elevation Partners, one of the big investors in Palm.
