It’s that time of year when you need to start preparing your end of year accounts. One of the things you have to do when preparing these is to provide comparisons for the previous financial year.

With Xero’s latest release, you can now enter your 31 March 2007 year end results so that they can be displayed for comparison with your 31 March 2008 results on your Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reports.

Select Conversion Balances from the Settings menu and click on the Add Comparative Balances button to enter your previous financial years’ balances. You can enter as many years as you want.

Note we will be releasing more reporting functionality next month.
